How to Reach Pench National Park from Mumbai



By Air

The nearest airport to Pench National Park is Nagpur Airport (around 100 km). You can take a direct flight from Mumbai to Nagpur. From there, private cabs and taxis are available for the 2 – 3 hour drive to Pench.



By Train

You can take a train from Mumbai to Nagpur or Seoni, both well connected to Pench by road. Taxis and private vehicles are easily available for the 2 – 3 hour drive to the park.



By Road

Pench is around 1,000 – 1,100 km from Mumbai. The drive via Nashik – Nagpur – Seoni – Pench or Pune – Nagpur – Balaghat – Pench takes approximately 18 – 20 hours. Roads are generally in good condition, and the route offers scenic forest and plateau landscapes.

Travel Tip: For comfort and convenience, many travelers prefer a flight to Nagpur, followed by a private cab transfer to Pench National Park, about 2 – 3 hours by road.
